General
Feast your eyes on the world’s largest waterfall – Victoria Falls and tour Hwange and Chobe National Parks with a Zimbabwe and Botswana Road Safari.
7 days will be spent accumulating hair-raising experiences in untamed Africa, from the Big Five to beautiful bird species, fish fauna, woodlands, rivers and the majestic Victoria Falls.
Your tour, which starts at Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and ends at Kasane in Botswana will explore these different destinations through walking safaris (with armed guards), game drives, nature hikes and boat trips.
Victoria Falls
Set on the mighty , Victoria Falls is regarded as the largest waterfall in the world.
The sprays from the waterfall produce a rainbow prism effect that is simply breathtaking.
Couple this with the fauna ( birds, raptors, large mammals) and flora (mopane and miombo woodlands, scrubland savannah & riverine forests) and you’re left with unforgettable memories of your Zimbabwe and Botswana road safari.
Get an adrenaline dose by bungee jumping or water rafting on the Zambezi River or bathe in Devil’s Pool on the edge of Victoria Falls.
Hwange National Park
The largest park in Zimbabwe, Hwange National Park has over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species.
Animals are more than humans in this park, and the biodiversity can only be matched to the Serengeti and Kruger National Park.
You are bound to see large numbers of the Big Five, giraffes, primates, gemsbucks and brown hyenas.
Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park is also known as ‘The Land of The Giants’ due to its large elephant population.
It is common for elephant herds to block the main road as they make their way to the Chobe River to drink, frolic and bathe.
Chobe National Park also consists of rich ecosystems, diverse landscapes, and bird-life and moderating the number of visitors only adds to its remoteness.
