Johannesburg City Half Day Tour

This half day city tour of South Africa’s financial capital will take you to the new Banking District, the Magistrate’s Court and the Supreme Court, the world-famous mining houses and the Wits and Rand Afrikaans Universities.

You will also drive through some of the most beautiful suburbs in the country with more trees than any other city in the world.



Your tour will begin in the inner city of Johannesburg which houses Newtown Precinct and Carlton Centre.

Revel in the cosmopolitan vibe of the Newtown Precinct located in downtown Johannesburg, a hotbed for protest art, theatre and music during apartheid.

You will then take a journey back into Africa’s past when the first civilisations thrived when you enter Museum Africa.

Here, you will find displays of the Treason Trial where Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu and Albert Luthuli were charged with treason.

You can write your facts and comments in the red book next to the display of each one of these leaders.

Lastly, you will enjoy a panoramic view from the topmost floor (known as the Top of Africa) of the tallest building in Africa – the 50 storey Carlton Centre.

City & Table Mountain Half Day Tour

This cultural and geographical extravaganza explores Cape Town from its historical beginnings to the dazzling shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.



If weather permits, you will board a cable car and proceed to tour the Table Mountain, now a World Heritage Site. The cableway does not operate if visibility is poor or the wind is too strong.

This flat-topped mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park which hosts a large variety of fauna and flora.

The cable car will rise to about 302m above sea level and offers stunning views of Cape Town, Robben Island, Table Bay and the Atlantic seaboard.

You will then make a stopover at The Company Gardens and the S.A. Museum before heading to the historic Castle of Good Hope which was built by Dutch colonialists in the 17th Century and finish off at the vibrant and arty flea market at Greenmarket Square.

Cape Winelands Full Day Tour
