General

Go on a week-long Tanzania northern circuit road safari with Vacay Holiday Deals.

This trip starts and ends in Arusha and combines the Ngorongoro, world famous Serengeti, Tarangire and Lake Manyara.

Tarangire National park is named after the Tarangire river that never dries up, acting as a magnet for thirsty wildlife in dry seasons. Its swamps also provide the largest breeding ground in the world for birds.

The vast plains of Serengeti provide a stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration every year. It’s as large as Northern Ireland which may be the reason why the Maasai called it ‘endless plains.’

Ngorongoro crater will take you back in time as you see the results of a volcano that erupted thousands of years ago. Lakes, swamps, rivers and grassland combine to form a picturesque home for the teeming wildlife found there.
