This safari tour starts out with a drive to the Amboseli National Park; Kenya’s “Elephant Country” famous for elephants and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

From Amboseli, the tour heads on to Lake Naivasha, known for birding and a range of game from buffaloes, giraffes to hippos.

The safari tour culminates with a stay at the world’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve; the site of one of the most spectacular phenomenon of the natural world – The Great Annual Wildebeest Migration.

Lake Naivasha

Over 450 bird species, magnificent volcanic landscapes, papyrus swamps and wild game call Lake Naivasha home.

It could also be your home for a few days where you can participate in game viewing, birdwatching, hiking, bush picnics, flower farm visits and horse riding.

You can also take a boat ride to Crescent Island and view hippos, bearded vultures, cormorants, pelicans, Goliath herons, woodpeckers and other bird species along the way.

Amboseli

Masai Mara

The Big Five, reptiles and amphibians, as well as birds without number, are a must see during your safari tour.

In addition, the resident Maasai giraffe, spotted hyena, striped jackal, Nile crocodile and dwarf mongoose will not be missed.

Kibo Safari Camp

Kibo Safari Camp is 5 minutes away from the Amboseli National Park entrance and wild animals can be seen wandering around the perimeter.

Its self-contained tents feature hot showers, bush log beds, and flush toilets.

Buffet meals are served at the open terraced restaurant which offers magnificent views of the mountain.

 

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Hippos are known to come out to graze on the lush lawns of Naivasha Sopa Lodge. But don’t be alarmed, this happens only at night.

During the day, you will spot vervet and colobus monkeys as well as giraffes and waterbucks.

Rooms have TV, minibars, open-air verandahs and large frontal windows for great views of the lake.

 

Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

All the buildings on this property have traditional conical roofs, featuring cottage houses for the budget traveler.

Rooms have electronic safe, sunken baths and sheltered verandahs with light safari chairs.

Enjoy buffet-style meals from the onsite restaurant and cocktails from Ol Murrani Bar.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

Pick up at the international airport by our guide/driver.

Depart by road to Amboseli National Park famous for its breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro.

Lunch is served at the camp, before departing for a planned afternoon game drive.

Return to the camp and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

Overnight at the camp.

 

Day 2: Amboseli

Rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit then set off for a morning game drive.

Return to the camp for lunch and rest then go out for an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

 

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Have an early morning breakfast then depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha.

Arrive just in time for lunch at the lodge after which you could go out for a boat ride (extra cost) or a nature walk at Crescent Island (extra cost)

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

Take your breakfast then go for an optional morning boat ride (extra cost).

Depart Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara Game Reserve where all the wildebeest action takes place.

Lunch will follow upon arrival after which you will embark on a late afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 5: Masai Mara

After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the park, watching buffaloes, impalas, zebras, topis, gazelles and other large mammals.

You may also take a hot air balloon ride at an additional cost.

All meals and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast, followed by a game drive en-route to Nairobi.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or the international airport or agreed destination ending your memorable safari with us.
