Explore Nairobi’s wild side with this full day Nairobi excursion with Vacay Holiday Deals.

Stunning landscapes of the Nairobi National Park and sweeping views of the big 4 – Lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard and other animals will fill you with awe.

You will then visit the David Shedrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre, which is home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Since opening in 1979, the center has rescued, hand-reared and then released back into the wild around 500 orphaned giraffes.

In this Nairobi excursion, you will get to feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform.

Nairobi Excursion Itinerary

This is an 8-hour Nairobi excursion and it begins with a pick-up at your hotel followed by a drive to the Nairobi National Park which hosts 4 of the Big 5.

Here, you will enjoy a full morning game drive as your eyes feast on the ostriches, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, rhinos, lions, buffalo, antelopes, gazelles and more.

You will then visit David Shedrick Elephant Orphanage from 11:00am-12:00 pm to view the elephants that you missed out on at the game drive.

The elephants will be brought to a cordoned area by their keepers where you will watch them play and be fed.

At 1:00 pm, you will stop for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant then head over to the Giraffe Centre where you will have an up-close encounter with the Rothschild giraffe.

The Giraffe Center visit takes approximately 1 hour, after which you will be dropped off back at your hotel or other agreed location.
