Flying safaris are the ideal way to combine different game parks without spending too much time travelling. This 5 day Kenya safari visits two of Kenya’s beautiful parks, the stunning Samburu followed by the magnificent Masai Mara. Spend two nights in Samburu at Ashnil Samburu Camp and another two nights in the Masai Mara at Ashnil Mara Camp. Both of these camps are in superb locations and offer great accommodation and a warm welcome.

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Pick up by our driver in Nairobi. Transfer to Wilson airport for your departure flight to Samburu airstrip. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to Ashnil Samburu Camp. After lunch, relax before a late afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the reserve, then back to the camp for breakfast. Relax at the camp before lunch. You can cool off in the lovely pool before a late afternoon game drive in this delightful national reserve.
The reserve located in the north provides a strong contrast to other scenic areas in Kenya. In the desert-like landscape is dominated by the yellow-brown savannah grass, interspersed with acacia trees and thorny bushes. Along the many source pools and rivers that run through the region seasonally, growing gallery forest and doum palms. The rivers are colored brown and invite elephant to swim. You have here the opportunity to spot the rare species such as the Grevy’s Zebra or Gerenuk antelope, which are otherwise not found in Kenya.

Day 3: Samburu – Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your departure flight to the world’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Upon arrival transfer to Ashnil Mara Camp. Have lunch. Afterward go for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. You will have a good chance of seeing herds of buffalo and zebra as well as hippos and lots of bird’s species.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy the day in the game park, with morning an afternoon game drives. Relaxation between the game drive timings.
In addition you can take an optional hot air balloon safari early morning (additional cost). The Masai Mara is one of the most unique regions of the world with breathtaking scenery of natural beauty. The reserve is home to the world’s highest concentration of savannah animals of various species of antelope, about giraffes, buffaloes and elephants to high populations of big cats.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Later transfer to the airstrip for your departure flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel or international airport or agreed destination ending your memorable safari with us.
